Town of Clay, NY – Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin E. Walsh reports that a Town of Clay man is awaiting extradition proceedings to answer charges of sexual misconduct via the Internet. On Oct. 7, 2009 Lawrence Bradish (50), of 8106 Como Lane, was arrested by members of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC) on an arrest warrant issued out of the state of Missouri.
Last week, authorities with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, located in Galena, Missouri, contact the Onondaga County Sheriff’s ICAC Unit and advised them that they were conducting an investigation involving Lawrence Bradish. Stone County Investigators relayed information that Bradish was sending sexually explicit photos of himself to an online investigator who Bradish believed was a 13 year old girl.
Stone County authorities provided an arrest warrant for Bradish along with addition information needed to obtain a search warrant for his residence which detectives assigned to the Onondaga County’s ICAC Unit along with assistance from the City of Syracuse Police Department executed this morning.
Bradish was taken into custody without incident and detectives recovered three computers that will undergo further examination. Bradish is charged with sexual misconduct or attempt involvement of a child under 15, which is a class D felony under Missouri State Law.
Bradish will be lodged at the Onondaga County Justice Center where he will await extradition process.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s ICAC Unit will examine Bradish’s computers to determine if any local charges will be filed against him and ask anyone who may have information to contact detectives by calling 435-2351.
