Marcellus Man Arrested for Attempted Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor

(Elbridge, NY - January 29, 2010) - State Police in Elbridge assisted by State Police Computer Crimes Unit in Oneida with an investigation that led to the arrest of 22 year-old, David Irwin, of 3948 Aquinnah Heights, Marcellus NY for one count of Attempted Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor in the First Degree (Class E Felony).

The investigation revealed that while in various computer chat rooms, the defendant engaged in sexually oriented conversations and sent indecent photographs to a person he believed to be a 13 yr old female. He was processed without incident and issued an Appearance Ticket for the Town of Marcellus Court on February 9, 2010.
