(Baldwinsville, NY – October 14, 2009) – The New York State Police at Lysander are currently investigating a 1 car accident which occurred on River Rd in the town of Lysander at 4:14pm on October 14, 2009.

The driver of the vehicle, Angelia Woollacott, age 18 of River Rd., Baldwinsville, NY, was operating a red 2000 Saturn northbound on River Rd. The vehicle was observed by witnesses operating erratically, and subsequently traveled off the west shoulder of the highway, becoming airborne and rolling repeatedly. A rear seat passenger, Reginald Miner, age 18 or Fairway Circle North, Baldwinsville, NY, was unbelted at the time of the collision, and received serious injuries, resulting in a transport to SUNY Upstate Medical University by GBAC Ambulance.

All other vehicle occupants, which include front seat passenger, Seth Iozzia, age 18 of River Rd. Baldwinsville, NY, and rear seat passenger Kaite Zaccaria, age 15 of Sun Meadows Way, Baldwinsville, NY, were wearing seat belts, received minor injuries, and were taken to Crouse Hospital by Menters Ambulance.

The investigation is continuing.
